Donate to Make a Difference in Your Community
Ottawa has always been a caring community with people donating generously to people in need through various charities. The East end of the City is often forgotten in funders allocation of resources and has fewer local agencies to meet the needs of youth, children, seniors, women and families. Please consider making your charitable donation count in your home community.
How can you help?
If you are planning on donating to the United Way in the next campaign, please consider designating your donation to the Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre. You will need our charitable registration number to do this: 12960-2470 RR0001. We will receive 80% of your donation. Please note that United Way will not share the names of donors who designate their donations. Please inform us directly if you wish us to be aware of your designated donation.
You may wish to consider donating directly to Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre. You can do this through www.canadahelps.org (we will receive 96.1% of your contribution),
You can donate directly by calling our office at 613-741-6025 and giving a donation with a credit card. (we will receive 100% of your contribution). You can donate by mail to 2339 Ogilvie Rd, Ottawa, K1J 8M6. Each of these two options also includes an option to contribute monthly.
Whichever option you choose will be greatly appreciated and will help provide services to people in need in your home community. Tax receipts will be provided.
